Tips for Using the Online Conference Program

Features to Help you Navigate the Online Conference Program

* Use the Table of Contents [page 3] to find the page number that corresponds to the information you're looking for and scroll to that page.

* Use the built-in bookmarks to search for specific information (event or session code), click on View - Navigation Panels - Bookmarks to open the toolbar. Click on the bookmark you want to "jump" to.

* To search for any text in the document, click on CTRL+F - a box will appear to type in your search keyword - type your keyword search then press ENTER. If you want to search for more of the same text, click on the "Find Next" button until you're through the entire document.

Important Pages to Print - Print the Program-at-a-Glance for each day [pages 8-13] and the Session Selection Form [page 18]. Use the Program-at-a-Glance as your reference to review the detailed session descriptions [pages 47-75] and narrow down your session preferences on your computer screen. Complete your session selection form to help you register quickly online. Please remember that ALL session selections must be made online at the time of registration; changes or additions cannot be made after your registration has been submitted.

There is important information in the Conference Program that you should take time to review:

* An Orientation for Participants / Getting the Most of Your TESL Ontario Conference Experience, Questions & Answers [pages 14-15]

* Conference Registration Information, Registration Instructions & Fees [pages 16-17]

* Volunteer Opportunities [page 35]

* Membership Benefits and Registration Form for Non-Members [pages 88-89]

If viewing the brochure on-screen is an issue for you and you cannot print the registration brochure at home or work, you can print the document from a jump drive or CD/DVD at your local Staples Copy Centre for $0.08 per page at the self-serve counter or another local copy centre.

Remember:

* Online registration opens on October 26.

* You MUST register online, so make arrangements to use a computer at work or at your local library if you don't have access to a computer with internet at home.

* If you have any questions about using your credit card online (if it is set up for online purchases, if there are passwords or other security features enabled), please contact your credit card company in advance.

Thank you for doing your part to save our environment and keep our conference fees as low as possible!
