Registry of TESL Ontario Accredited Members
The Registry of TESL Ontario Accredited Members is up and running now. To access the Registry, please click on "Find an Instructor" in the menu bar, enter your membership number, or your last name, or your location, and click on "Search".
Please note that, in order to receive a copy of your TESL Ontario Accreditation, you will need to key in your TESL password which is upper-case letter T followed by your TESL Ontario membership number. For example, if your membership number is 010080, your TESL password will be T010080.
TESL Ontario will inform those LINC/ESL programs which are the main employers of our accredited members in Ontario of the existence of the Registry, and its location-based search and email functions. Using the Registry, employers will be able to find and send emails to accredited instructors in different towns and cities in Ontario. Please keep in mind that you can have up to three locations (cities and towns) added to your main location on the Registry.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your records on the Registry, would like to add or remove locations, or intend to opt into or out of the Registry, please contact Peg Chornenki, TESL Ontario's Office Coordinator, at 416-593-4243, ext. 202 or at administration@teslontario.org.
Accredited members have constant access to their up-to-date accreditation records through the Registry, and can receive and print their certificates using the Registry and their email accounts at any time during each accreditation year. The TESL password, which needs to be typed in to receive a certificate, is upper-case letter T followed by membership number (no space between the letter and the number). As of January 1, 2010, TESL Ontario discontinues mailing out certificates.
However, for those few accredited members who do not have email accounts yet or have opted out of the Registry, TESL Ontario will do the printing and mail copies of their certificates to them once at the beginning of each accreditation year. These certificates will be exactly the same as those that can be received and printed through the Registry. Should these accredited members need additional copies of their certificates, they will need to contact TESL Ontario Office to place an order.
If you have any questions or concerns about TESL Ontario Accreditation or the Registry, please don't hesitate to contact Reza Mazloom-Farzaghy Accreditation Administrator at 416-593-4243, ext. 201 or at accreditation@teslontario.org
