by institutional applicant and is not responsible for the accuracy
of the program's description
* TTIRAC does not set entrance criteria for TESL training programs
* In order to be recognized, a TESL training program must meet
the program content requirements as well as the practicum requirements
* Programs that require students to arrange for their own practicum
hours may not offer the requisite practicum hours for all
of their students. Individual
applicants are encouraged to verify practicum hours before undertaking
a program
of study.
* Individual certification criteria are separate from those of
training institutions; for example, a minimum of a three-year university
degree
and proof of English
proficiency are requirements for individuals but not for institutions.
