The International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) is one of the most popular language proficiency tests for higher education and global migration. The IELTS Examiner will expertly asses candidates, with the consistency and standards put forward by IELTS, in the speaking module of the IELTS test. The Examiner will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the test and ensure a fair testing procedure will be followed for all candidates in the speaking modules.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Program Duties:

  • Examine students regularly, for the writing and speaking modules of the IELTS test at designated testing sessions
  • Maintain confidentiality and security in all aspects of the IELTS
  • Comply with all elements of the Examiner Code of Practice and IELTS Confidentiality Undertake scheduled standardization training and re-certification.


  • Undergraduate Degree or Master’s Degree
  • Recognized TESOL Qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years TESOL Teaching Experience
  • Professional attributes and interpersonal skills

Work Hours:

  • Examiners work for approximately 5 hours per shift; Shift times vary depending on number of applicants
  • Shifts will be scheduled on Saturdays at approximately 12:30pm

Training and Certification Dates: Saturday March 17 and March 18, 2017

  • Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
