Contact, the official newsletter of the Teachers of English as a Second Language of Ontario, is published online three times a year to meet the needs of various ESL/ELD constituencies. Information related to elementary, secondary, university and college, credit, non-credit, adult and LINC programs is conveyed through articles, language profiles, conference proceedings, letters and book reviews in a theme-based format. Settlement and community agencies are profiled on a regular basis, increasing awareness of available services and common issues. The current and most recent editions are now available here.

Submit an article!

Share with other TESL professionals your tried and true classroom activities and recommendations for ESL learners of all ages and levels by submitting your favourite activities in speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary-building, classroom management, pronunciation and grammar favourite videos and dictionaries as well as tips for what you wished teacher training had taught you.
Copy should be preferably e-mailed to the Editor, Tania Pattison at editor@teslontario.org in Rich Text Format (RTF).

Deadlines are December 31st, March 31st, June 30th and September 1st.

We're also looking for volunteers to review academic papers submitted to Contact (You can submit time you spend reviewing as Professional Development hours!)
