Humber College is hiring four professors to teach exclusively in the Humber English Language Program within our offshore partner institution in Osaka, Japan. The English Language Centre (ELC) plays a vital role in the Humber community. Our programs are specifically created to help fulfill the various language needs of students who wish to pathway into academic programs at the college, and develop their professional English expertise for their career, increase their confidence and comfort level with spoken English.
We are looking for experienced, learner-focused, TESL trained instructors to teach Stage I and Stage II day classes (20 hrs. wk @ $42/hr) as well as people who are available for supply work day and night.

The TDSB TESL Training program is looking for a dynamic professional to teach both methodological and theoretical sessions in the program.
The Resource Teacher delivers specialized language instruction aimed at increase employment outcomes and accelerating labour market entry for newcomers to Canada. The Resource Teacher will collaborate to develop and deliver employment-focused language instruction, combined with targeted, individualized workplace and employment focused modules, for one-on-one and small group language instruction, that enhance and tailor content specifically to students pre-employment and employment needs.
We are recruiting instructors for the LINC Home Study program funded by IRCC and Online English funded by the Province of Saskatchewan. We provide a self-paced distance language training program for immigrants to Canada who are unable to attend classes in person. Eligible immigrants enrol in the program to obtain/improve the English language skills required to function in Canadian society. Instructors deliver weekly instructional sessions by phone or VOIP, as well as monitor and facilitate students’ independent study. Instructors work remotely from home.
We require a qualified individual to create and deliver faculty development resources and learning opportunities primarily for Conestoga faculty with a key focus on supporting faculty in being inclusive while teaching diverse student groups (e.g., indigenous, international, newcomers to Canada, students with disabilities, LGBTQ2S, and other students with diverse support needs).
