TESL Ontario local Affiliate Chapters
TESL Ontario local Affiliate Chapters offer numerous professional development (PD) events throughout the year. Most affiliate chapters also have non-member rates available, which means that if an affiliate chapter other than your own is hosting a PD event that interests you, you can still attend.
Free TESL Ontario Webinar Series
The TESL Ontario webinars are offered free of charge, exclusively for TESL Ontario members and are scheduled twice a month to provide members with additional professional development in all areas of language training. There are two webinar streams; General ESL Topics and Technology for Beginners.
The focus of the TESL Ontario webinar series include:
- practical teaching strategies in all skill areas of language training
- technology in the classroom
- technology for beginners
- new teaching methods such as blended learning
- instructional strategies
- curriculum and material development
- research and theory
