Today marks the start of National Accessibility Week in Canada.
TESL Ontario, under the guidance of our Board of Directors and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, is committed to increasing accessibility in all forms to our services, our professional development offerings, and our events, both in-person and online.
As we work to better our own efforts around inclusive design, virtual and in-person accommodations, discouraging ableism and building a more inclusive organization, we encourage all members to develop a comprehensive understanding of accessibility in the classroom, the workplace and their community at large.
